Amyas are delighted to offer a range of workshops, for children, adults, or whole families getting everyone involved in the fun of historical music-making!
We provide work in schools, including interactive sessions at both primary and secondary level, ranging from a 40 min presentation to a whole day's project. These can be focussed on Medieval, Tudor, Commonwealth/Restoration, or Enlightenment periods.
Both core members of Amyas are experienced teachers/lecturers at all levels and are have full enhanced DBS clearance
We also work at a university level and in Adult Education. We can run 'playing days' for modern instrumentalists/singers and provide opportunities to try historical performance practices in a friendly and fun environment.
